Barbara Hare

It is with regret that I pass on the sad news of the death of Barbara Hare. Barbara was a face (and voice) known throughout cricketing circles, and I'm sure she will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

The current chair of the Yorkshire Women's cricket Association, Sarah Pickford, has written a tribute to Barbare on the Yorkshire County Cricket Club website.

Our thoughts are with her neareat and dearest at this sad time.

Playing Howizee

On the HOWIZEE scratchcard there are 30 ways of the batsman being dismissed.

Your club can decide how much to charge for each "guess"; usually £1.00

To guess each player chooses an option and places their initials in one of the circles on the card.

When all the circles are filled, scratch off the umpires decision which will show how the batsman will be given out.
